Who We Are
Phil Bradshaw is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience building and maintaining rally cars for clients worldwide. His journey began with a childhood fascination for engines and speed, which evolved into a lifelong passion and career. Over the years, he has refined his skills, mastering the complexities of rally car engineering while pushing the boundaries of performance and reliability.
PBE was founded in 2018 by Phil Bradshaw with his wife Alex and father Dick running Tony Simpson and the late Ian Bevan in an R2 in the BTRDA gravel championship.
In 2020 after 24 years Phil left Msport and made PB Engineering his full time concern. With the help of a couple of treasured friends like Paul (P&R Benn) he rented space where he could in workshops and quickly built a customer base.
Phil leads the engineering aspect of the team whether it be directing and organising the mechanical preparations and repairs whilst Alex heads the timetabling and logistical side of the operation mainly.What distinguishes Phil is a combination of experience, dedication, and a sincere commitment to clients. Whether performing last-minute repairs in remote locations or fine-tuning vehicles to gain critical seconds on the track, he is recognized for going the extra mile—often literally. His work takes him around the world to support racers and enthusiasts, bringing not only technical expertise but also a personal touch to every project.
Phil works alongside a closely-knit team of experts who share his passion and precision. Together, they have earned recognition from some of the most challenging rally circuits and from clients who entrust them with their ambitions and machines.
